About the Position:
The Member Relations Manager is a key member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership team, responsible for the growth and retention of our membership base. This role involves cultivating relationships with existing members, recruiting new members, and ensuring member satisfaction through our programs and services. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for downtown Orlando, and a proven track record in membership management or sales.
Responsibilities:
- Membership Growth: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and expand the DOP’s membership base. This includes identifying potential members, developing targeted outreach campaigns, and attending networking events.
- Membership Retention: Cultivate strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their needs are met and they are actively engaged in Partnership activities. This includes regular communication, personalized outreach, and soliciting feedback.
- Member Services: Oversee the delivery of valuable member benefits, including networking opportunities, educational programs, marketing support, and access to DOP's resources.
- Membership Administration: Manage the membership database, track membership renewals, process dues and sponsorship payments, and generate membership reports.
- Event Management: Assist with the planning and execution of membership-related events, including networking and signature events, forums, and programming.
- Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the marketing and communication team to promote membership opportunities and highlight member successes through various channels, including the DOP website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the membership budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and tracking revenue and expenses.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, community representatives, and government officials.
- Reporting: Regularly report on membership metrics, including new member acquisition, retention rates, and membership revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in membership management, sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving membership growth and retention goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Knowledge of downtown Orlando and the business community is a plus.
- Passion for urban development and community engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered commensurate with experience for a part-time or full-time opportunity. Salary range $26.44 to $31.25/hour.
Schedule:
This position requires a consistent on-site presence and DOP’s office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are a team that values in-person collaboration and believe our best work happens when we're together in the office. This role is not eligible for remote work.

Marketing & Events Internship - Fall 2025
Do you thrive on finding creative ways to communicate on social media and building connections? Are you passionate about the vibrancy of Downtown Orlando? If so, the Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) wants you!
The Downtown Orlando Partnership is seeking a Marketing & Events Intern to join its team for the Fall 2025 semester. As an intern at the DOP, you would assist the Communications Manager in developing and maintaining communication efforts for our members and the downtown community.
Responsibilities:
- Strategizing, planning, and implementing social media marketing campaigns.
- Lead content creation process such as photo, video, and graphics content to be hosted on our various social media channels.
- Perform social media market research.
- Assist in gathering content for weekly newsletter, social media reposts, member job listings and member/community events.
- Facilitate daily, real-time engagement with our social communities. Engaging with relevant brand mentions/tags from our members and community when necessary.
- Assist in the coordination and planning of DOP events.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in Social Media Management (preferred).
- Is passionate about staying connected to Downtown Orlando news and chatter.
- Must be a self-starter with an eagerness to learn and contribute to a nonprofit organization.
- Has the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills with a keen sense for grammar and spelling. *MUST include a cover letter with application.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other marketing programs such as Canva, Adobe products, Mailchimp, and Meta.
- Must be a minimum college junior or senior, pursuing a degree in Marketing Communications, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work in-person on site for a minimum of 5 hours per week over a period of 10 weeks.

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the event
- Greet and register guests for giveaway raffles
- Aid in maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Pass out marketing materials and giveaways
