Downtown Orlando Partnership: Membership Relations Manager

The DOP is seeking a dynamic Membership Relations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in strengthening our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding our membership and sponsorship base, ensuring our members receive exceptional value and actively participate in shaping the future of Downtown Orlando.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain a diverse range of members and sponsors, including businesses of all sizes, organizations, and institutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective members, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Manage the membership lifecycle, from initial outreach to onboarding, engagement, and renewal.
  • Organize and participate in all member events, fostering networking opportunities and a sense of community
  • Attend all DOP functions and serve as on-site support as needed
  • Coordinate membership benefits and programs, ensuring members maximize their return on investment.
  • Track and analyze membership and sponsorship data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in membership development.
  • Support DOP's overall marketing and communication efforts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in membership relations, non-profit development, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding membership and sponsorship goals.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Adobe Creative, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for Downtown Orlando and its continued success.

Schedule:

40 hours/week expectation with flexible hours.
