Orlando Pride Unveils the Highway Woman Kit, a Tribute to Trailblazing Florida Artist
The Orlando Pride has introduced the Highway Woman Kit, the Club’s 2023 primary jersey, influenced by and paying tribute to one of Florida’s iconic female trailblazers: Mary Ann Carroll. The kit, presented by Orlando Health, was designed in collaboration with the estate of Carroll, a legendary Black artist and the only woman of the iconic Highwaymen painters. Together, through 30 years of painting and battling racial discrimination, it is believed that the Highwaymen created over 200,000 works of art and were later inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2004. The Highway Woman Kit is now available for purchase at ShopOrlandoPride.com or at The Den at Exploria Stadium.

This year, UCF Celebrates the Arts turns the spotlight on the intersection of arts and technology, and showcases the students, faculty and alumni through dance, concerts, cabaret, lectures and discussions, film, chamber music, an expanded visual arts presence, and more. State of the Village
Ivanhoe Village Main Street is hosting State of the Village on Wednesday, May 3rd at 7pm at The Hall on the Yard. Come join for a night of achievements, networking and fundraising as Ivanhoe Village celebrates 15 successful years! There will be passed hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction and a brief presentation on IVMS' accomplishments of the last year as well as projects in process.
