DOWNTOWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS
City of Orlando Annual Tree Lighting Celebration
Kickoff the holiday season at the City of Orlando's annual Tree Lighting Celebration at Lake Eola Park on December 2nd. The event will take place at Washington Plaza, the festivities begin at 5pm and the tree lighting ceremony is at 8pm. The highlight of the event is the lighting of the 64-foot Christmas tree featuring 88,000 animated lights. The event will include holiday performances at the Walt Disney Amphitheater, food trucks and a holiday market.
Eola Wonderland Snowfall
Experience a Florida snowfall in Downtown Orlando near the Eola House. Celebrate falling snowflakes on select evenings with 15-minute shows starting December 2nd to the 23rd on Friday and Saturdays nights: 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and on Sundays: 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. See the snowfall near Eola House on 512 Eola Parkway.
