HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS.
How You Can Support Our Community.
Helping our fellow neighbors during the holiday season is one way to connect with those in need in our community. Like most things this year, our involvement will look a little different, but it is more important than ever. We have gathered information from a few organizations and will continue to share updates as we learn more.
Pathlight Home
Pathlight Seasons Program provides holiday meals and gifts to the community as part of their mission to change the lives of our formerly homeless residents. They are continuously monitoring and updating their safety precautions as they prepare for the holiday season. There are still plenty of ways to get involved, whether through the holiday meal delivery or by hosting a gift drive. Gifts can also be purchased through Pathlight Home's Amazon Smile list.
Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots Orange County has begun distributing collection boxes. Organizations can submit a form to become a collection location. All toys must be delivered to Toys for Tots by December 11, 2020 to ensure timely delivery.
United Way of Central Florida
The United Way of Central Florida Thanksgiving Project is a community-wide food drive providing a full holiday meal to those in need in Central Florida. This is a family-friendly volunteer opportunity where everyone can make a difference our community. Volunteer days and times are available November 16 - 21 and include packing and distributing of meals.
