A Decade of Arts for Everyone
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year! Opening on November 6, 2024, the Center's impact on Central Florida's arts scene and local economy has been significant. According to the Center, an average 750,000 guests have watched nationally and world-renowned artists since 2014, putting Orlando on the map as a place to perform and infusing the local economy with $190 million annually. Click here to read the full article in The Community Paper and congratulations, Dr. Phillips Center!

Annual OFD September 11 Memorial Ceremony
On Wednesday, September 11th at 7pm, the Orlando Fire Department will hold its annual September 11 Memorial Ceremony at Fire Station 1, 78 West Central Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32801. Since 2002, OFD has hosted this event honoring the first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice while responding to the World Trade Center following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. As part of the ceremony, OFD speakers will provide remarks to pay tribute and memorialize two New York City Fire Department Firefighters, FDNY, who died on 9/11.

One Person, One Tree
The City of Orlando, in partnership with OUC - The Reliable One, provides trees to residents to increase the city's tree canopy to 40% by 2040. By providing residents with free trees to plant on their property, or to plant trees in the right-of-way in front of their homes, is another way the city is transforming the urban environment to conserve, preserve and reuse valuable resources, ensuring a more livable Orlando for future generations to come. 100 Years of Art Gala
Did you know the Orlando Museum of Art is celebrating their 100-year anniversary? Orlando City SC vs New England Revolution - Hispanic Heritage
