GO Sports Announces 2023 Celebrating Women in Sports Winners
This week, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports) announced the five award winners that will be honored during the 2023 Celebrating Women in Sports luncheon. Congratulations to DOP board member, Jennifer Lastik, for receiving the Women in Sports Leadership Award! The 5th annual luncheon will be hosted at UCF's Addition Financial Arena on Wednesday, September 13th at noon. Learn more and get tickets today!
Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday
Consumers can purchase qualifying disaster preparedness supplies exempt from tax during the 2023 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday, running from August 26th through September 8th. For a list of qualifying items, visit floridarevenue.com/DisasterPrep.
Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Has Begun!
Visit Orlando's Magical Dining is running now through October 1st, with a record-breaking 132 of Orlando's best restaurants serving up three-course prix-fixe menus for either $40 or $60, as part of a new tiered menu system. This year’s roster brings 22 new restaurants to the dining program, as well as eight restaurants recognized by the MICHELIN Guide. National Dog Day Celebration at Aloft
Did you know this Saturday is National Dog Day? Celebrate with Aloft from 3-5pm on August 26th! There will be dogs available for adoption from Pet Rescue By Judy, a raffle, dog pools and treats, and complimentary beer or house wine if you bring your dog!
