State of the City
Yesterday, City of Orlando's Mayor Buddy Dyer delivered the 2023 State of the City Address at Harriett's Orlando Ballet Centre. In his speech, Mayor Dyer highlighted the many accomplishments of The City Beautiful, including being the best city in America to start a business for the third year in a row, being among a handful of U.S. cities making the top 100 cities in the world, and America's second ranked foodie city! Click here to watch the full speech (starting at 18:30).

CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF) recently announced their new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tadar Muhammad. Tadar joins the CSCF team with great enthusiasm and decades of experience in organizational leadership, strategic partnerships, corporate social responsibility, and workforce development. He is a strategic thinker with a dynamic leadership approach who also has a true passion for the Central Florida community. As COO, Tadar will assist and help drive their organizational mission, business innovation, and strategic initiatives to help grow CSCF and serve the region. Most recently, Tadar served as the Chief Development Officer at the Heart of Florida United Way. Prior to that, he spent nearly two decades at the Home Builders Institute, where he made significant contributions to business development and boosting organizational efficiency. 2023 PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon
Every year, the Orlando City Foundation holds the PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon presented by Orlando Health | Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies for an exciting day of prizes, auction items, music, and more! This year's bingo event will take place on Saturday, July 15th from 11am to 2pm at Sheraton Orlando North Hotel. Guests select their teams and table themes, decorating themselves and the table for the chance to win prizes for best dressed! The PlayBingo Ladies Luncheon supports the Orlando City Foundation in building safe places to play in under-served neighborhoods, free soccer programs, nutrition education, and community gardens.
