Get Ready to Eat And Shop On #407Day
VisitOrlando is partnering with Orange County and the City of Orlando to stretch #407Day beyond the dining industry. Now, residents can celebrate and support all kinds of local businesses as part of #407Day, including shops, boutiques and services. And to encourage participation, VisitOrlando is working with local food blog Tasty Chomps to launch a #407Day social media giveaway for anyone who shares posts and photos of their local purchases on April 7, using hashtag #407Day. Ten winners will be awarded giveaways that are also from local businesses and organizations — a win-win for the destination.
2022 Orange County Regional Economic Summit
On Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings, in collaboration with the Orlando Economic Partnership, will host the 2022 Orange County Regional Economic Summit. The regional summit will highlight the annual local and state economic forecast. This year the summit will also focus on how the region’s business and transportation infrastructure can support our County’s upward trajectory for economic growth and progress. From now until April 16, UCF College of Arts & Humanities will bring its best and brightest artists to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for concerts, lectures, musicals, and more! Every year, UCF brings its best and brightest artists to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for a large-scale celebration of the things that make our world more interesting and beautiful. This year, UCF Celebrates the Arts is bigger than ever, with a multi-day production of an award-winning, family-friendly musical, concerts in the new Steinmetz Hall, lectures and discussions, multimedia events, chamber music, an expanded visual arts presence and more surprises to delight you. Downtown Day of Service
Our community matters, so lets care for it! On April 15th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, join dozens of UCF and Valencia College students, faculty and staff in giving back to our local community of Parramore and Downtown Orlando. Throughout the day, choose to volunteer your time at different service sites including Parramore Street Clean Up, Boys and Girls Club of Central Floria, Orange County Animal Services, and more being added everyday. Sensory-Friendly Sunday: Space Spectacular
On April 10th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, explore Florida’s important role in space exploration and NASA history while enjoying themed activities throughout the Orange County Regional History Center.
